the sample service
About
For waist-cinching corsets, it's absolutely essential to try them on to get a true understanding of how they fit your body. Two people with identical measurements will experience completely different fits from the same corset due to factors like bone structure, body type, and individual shape. This is why all waist-cinching and bridal corsets come with our signature sample service.
We use your measurements as our starting point to create a cotton toile (fitting sample) of your corset. From this foundation, we fine-tune the fit specifically to your body, ensuring your final piece is absolutely perfect. This process also allows you to make any tweaks you wish to the design, to
ensure you are wearing a piece that truly represents you and your style on your
special day.
In-Person Fittings: If you can travel to our Kent studio, we welcome you for an in-person toile fitting.
Remote Fittings: We can ship your toile for you to try at home, offering this service completely remotely. Once you've tried on your sample, simply photograph yourself wearing the piece from the front, back, and sides, plus any close-ups or videos of specific areas you'd like us to focus on. From these images, we can discuss any adjustments needed to perfect your fit.
